This yoga weekend is about releasing tensions and deepening awareness as we explore practices that open us to our True Nature within this peaceful and quiet nature surrounding just 1 hour outside Hamburg. Daily life is full of devices that occupy our time and sometimes these devices become vices in our lives. Computers, cell phones and social media are some of the leading causes of being distracted from being ‘aware.’ Awareness of our bodies, our thoughts and the surroundings around us in any given moment is lost when we are chained to these devices.
We all need to take time to decompress and re-balance. When we take time to quiet our environment via nature, we quiet our minds and deeper clarity arrives. We begin to see and experience things differently and eventually perspectives transform. We connect more deeply with our bodies, our lifegiving breath and our habitual patterns that may be barriers to living a fuller life. This weekend is not about ‘change’, but about being aware, observing and welcoming ourselves as we are and going from there. Maybe even experiencing a positive breakthrough or as I call it, an A-ha moment. There are few better places to do this than in nature. How do you feel after you take a walk in a forest, go for a swim in a lake or do a yoga practice on the grass? More relaxed and clear I would say. Our bodies’ bio-rhythms are synchronized with the cycles of nature, so it makes sense to spend a good amount of time in getting lost in nature.
Join Eric and Michael who will share they’re extensive experiences and techniques in yoga asana, breathing, meditation & chanting to guide students into ‘reset.’ From there, the rest of the weekend will evolve into experiencing your natural center of ‘being’ while being nourished by this beautiful nature surrounding called Pausen-Hof. You will have many activities outside our yoga practice to do so, like canoing, nature hiking, visiting animal reserves, camping in the surrounding area, campfires with Eric and Michael and sharing relaxation time with the group.
