Our Teacher Training Team
Eric, Anna and Eva all have their roots in Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga. Steffi’s beginnings are rooted in Hatha Yoga. With different paths and passions, they all consider a regular personal practice and a good understanding of body structures as a key to teaching yoga.
If you would like to speak to us via private one-on-one session, in-person or via Zoom, contact us at email@example.com.
A daily yoga practice accompanies Anna on the path of introspection and inspiration. Anna has been practicing Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, in the tradition of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, for almost two decades. She considers herself very fortunate to have learned from the greatest masters of the Ashtanga Yoga method, such as Richard Freeman, Nancy Gilgoff, Chuck Miller & Maty Ezraty. Her valued teacher Cole Dano from Finland has accompanied her to an optimized practice for years. Anna is fascinated by the Ashtanga Yoga method, which brings the “blind spots” of our body-mind connection into light. Anna is a naturopath and has learned osteopathy for five years at the International Academy of Osteopathy. With her keen eye and understanding of details, Anna can help her students to notice and solve stuck movement patterns. A joyful and healing practice is guaranteed.Show more
Eric’s yoga roots are in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. He was fortunate to learn from some of the most experienced & respected teachers in Canada, Ron Reid, Diane Bruni & Marla Meenakshi Joy. This is where Eric first experienced Yoga Nidra and this led him to a passion as a student and teacher of Yoga Nidra. Yoga eventually brought Eric to Germany where he deepened practices in other various styles including vinyasa flow. His passions for physical asana, anatomy and energetic centers and functions of the body deepened over the years in studying with teachers Anna Rossow, Jennifer Reis and David Keil. One of his greatest passions is Yoga Nidra. Eric has been guiding Yoga Nidra meditations for years now and has developed his own 40-Hour Yoga Nidra Teacher Training program open to everyone. He has had the opportunity to travel and teach classes, workshops and teacher trainings in Germany and Canada and has written articles for various online and print publications including Yoga Journal, PersonalityMag, Yoga Aktuell, Happy Mind, Fuck Lucky Go Happy and MoMazing. Living in Hamburg for the past 10 years, Eric is rooted in his studio, PEACE OUT YOGA where students can attend any of his classes founded on a multi-style vinyasa flow with a non-dogmatic approach that benefits the modern-day body and mind challenges each of us face.
Eva combines a sporty, dynamic approach with a passion for creative, flowing sequencing in her classes. In addition to her Ashtanga-Vinyasa-Yoga roots, she is shaped by her training in classical ballet and dance. The focus of her classes is on building secure foundations, understanding your own body and the ability to respond to individuality and different levels in group lessons, so that practice always offers the possibility for everyone to push one's own limits in a safe framework. She studied with and been influenced on her yoga path by Julie Choi Trepkau and Ronald Steiner (Ashtanga Yoga), Simon Borg Olivier (Yoga Synergy), Kathrin Bruni-Young (Mindful Strength) and various teachers of the Vinyasa style and movement inspirations outside of the world of yoga.
While the "outer nature" is always a wonderful source of knowledge, inspiration and strength for her as a doctor of biology, for Steffi yoga represents a lifelong journey of discovery to her own source of wisdom and strength, the "inner nature". Originally coming from Hatha Yoga , Steffi's own practice is influenced by different yoga styles, the diversity of which flows into her teaching. Dynamic and powerful Vinyasa sequences alternate with gentler Yin elements, precise alignment and sometimes longer holding of asanas. Pranayama, meditation and inputs from the philosophy of yoga complement the lessons - always with the aim of encountering yourself. Steffi's yoga path was particularly shaped during the time she lived in Asia and experienced inspiration, love and healing from a wide variety of yoga teachers in Malaysia, Bali and finally during her training in India. Since then, Steffi has been continuously deepening her knowledge through various trainings and further education courses and is happy to pass on her experience of seeing yoga as a way to (more) love, bliss, connectedness and mindfulness - detached from all external appearances and expectations.

“The immersion training was a great challenge for me. Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga as a consistent practice has taught me to let go of my own expectations and to reflect on my old patterns and transform them step by step. In particular, learning that “consistency” is key. The Yoga Nidra meditations helped me to heal and grow. I would recommend this training to anyone who really wants a strong foundation with teachers with high expertise in traditional yoga and a solid knowledge of anatomy and living a holistic yoga lifestyle. “
‘At the beginning of my teacher training wasn’t sure if I would like to teach at all, now I can hardly wait. Thank you Eric, Eva, Anna & Michael for all of your knowledge that you shared with us. I was allowed to learn so much, for myself, about myself and thus also for other yogis. ‘
‘Beautiful yoga studio with very experienced teachers. Visiting Peace Out Yoga is like taking a little vacation! Classes in English or German! My favorite yoga studio in Hamburg!’
This teacher training helped me to get closer to myself. I started it with the intention to develop my personal practice and never considered that I would be a yoga teacher. The teacher team at Peace Out Yoga are very welcoming and I felt they truly live their website statement => “Yoga is for every-body.” Was this training sometimes hard for my plus-size body? Yes! Did I give up? No! Eva and Eric are amazing teachers who generously shared various options and techniques along with their extensive yoga knowledge and experience in a fun and interesting way with us teacher trainees. I really do feel encouraged to keep on following my yoga path and begin to share my experiences with others.
Thank you so much Peace Out Team!!!
‘The Immersion & Teacher Training is in a wonderful and loving studio atmosphere. The teachers are excellent and share a lot of their personal experiences. Every student was given personal attention in addressing their personal yoga practice and the path they find most passionate and fitting to them. The training has provided me with so much input and was very inspiring. Very recommended!’
The Teacher Training with Eric, Eva and team is a great opportunity to deep dive into the different aspects of Yoga. It is so much more than Asanas. Training modules are well done with elaborated content. Thanks a lot for explaining, supporting and encouraging us with your energy!
‘Super experienced team!’
“Before the 250-hour immersion and teacher training, I had been practicing yoga, but I never felt all of the power and magic of it until I attended this training! Eric, Eva, Anna & Michael are very unique, caring, and experienced teachers who emphasize “awareness”. This training showed me that while yoga has changed a lot in the modern world, the traditional aspects remain strong. “
This 250-Hour Yoga Teacher Training was a wonderfully enriching experience for me, even after many years of yoga practice. The teaching team led by Eric generously and non-dogmatically shared their in-depth knowledge with us. In addition to the yoga philosophy, there is a special focus on anatomy, which is discussed again and again in different contexts throughout the training, even after the intensive week. So now I have a solid foundation to build on. I can heartily recommend the training if you want to delve deeper into your own practice and/or even toy with the idea of teaching yourself. For me, the teacher training was the continuation of my own yoga journey, which will never end.
“Trained … forever practicing,” to paraphrase Eric.
‘The 250-hour Immersion & Teacher Training at PEACE OUT YOGA helped me to better understand yoga and my relationship with yoga. The knowledge and insights shared were very helpful to me in starting my journey as a teacher. Anna, Eric, Michael & Eva were able to share and teach us through their own deep practice and knowledge. If you are looking for a teacher training program that is built on a solid foundation of a general understanding of yoga philosophy, a good basic understanding of the anatomy of the body and its relationships, then this is the right training for you. “
